Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate small group and one-on-one instructional support under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance the educational experience across various subjects.
- Review and provide feedback on student assignments and daily work.
- Utilize a range of educational tools and technology, including copy machines, computers, and audio-visual equipment.
- Support individual students in structured classroom settings, ensuring they meet their learning objectives.
- Assist in monitoring student progress and behavior, contributing to a disciplined and safe learning environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration to support the overall educational mission.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during instructional activities.
- Engage in activities and instructional planning as directed by the teacher.
- Provide assistance to students in various classes as needed.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or equivalent (GED).
- Possession of an Associate's degree or equivalent college credits, or successful completion of a relevant assessment.
- Demonstrated reliability, trustworthiness, and experience working with children and adults.
- Strong organizational skills and initiative are essential.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
Employment Terms
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, in accordance with the established salary schedule. The position requires a commitment of 6.5 hours per day, with specific working hours to be determined.
