Job Summary:
The Special Events Supervisor is a critical role within AMR Corp. responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of ambulance services during special events in the Greater New York City area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and Direct Special Events Employees: Ensure that the right personnel are in place to provide exceptional service to customers.
- Coordinate with Recruitment Team: Work closely with the recruitment team to maintain an adequate pool of special event personnel.
- Direct Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for CrowdRx and special events customers regarding ambulance coverage.
- Provide Direction and Oversight: Offer guidance and support to operational support staff as needed.
- Maintain Policy and Procedures: Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures for each venue to ensure consistency and quality.
- Ensure Quality Field Operations: Conduct daily contact, oversight, communication, and evaluation of ambulance staff to maintain high standards.
- Assess Daily Equipment and Supply Needs: Identify and coordinate the necessary equipment and supplies for events.
- Reconcile and Submit Reimbursement: Ensure that daily medical event service hours are accurately recorded and submitted for reimbursement.
- Resolve Customer and Staff Inquiries: Respond to and resolve customer and staff inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Investigate Events: Conduct thorough investigations into events involving assigned units or staff, including the completion of internal reports and recommendations for training or policy updates.
- Maintain Punctual and Regular Attendance: Ensure consistent attendance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of Three Years' Experience: As an EMS provider with a minimum of three years of experience.
- Special Events Experience: Preferably with experience in special events.
- Supervisory Experience: Preferably with supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated Skills and Experience: In evaluating, instructing, and coaching all aspects of pre-hospital care delivery.
- Comprehensive Understanding: Of operations protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Current State Certification: As an EMT or higher, as well as all AMR requirements.
- No Written Disciplinary Action: Within the past six months of employment.
- Effective Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
