With a population of approximately 36,650 residents, the library is a key resource for the community, providing access to a wealth of information and cultural programs. The library collaborates with local organizations, schools, and businesses to enhance community life and promote literacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist library patrons with reference inquiries, readers advisory, and information literacy.
  • Utilize various technology platforms to provide support, including chat, email, and mobile devices.
  • Guide patrons in using the online library catalog, e-resources, and public access computers.
  • Engage in special projects to support collection management and promotional activities.
  • Participate in library programs and community events as assigned.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that respects diverse cultural values.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • A combination of education and experience, including a Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a library setting.

  • Familiarity with library services and resources is preferred.
