Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Architect to join our Mission Critical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, experience with data center projects, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project teams in designing and developing data center facilities, from conceptual design to construction administration.
  • Develop, modify, and review production drawings for data center facilities.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop interiors based on client vision and architectural needs.
  • Manage data and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and present client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and construction administration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 4-6 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on data center projects.
  • Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of standard architectural techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is $85,000-$120,000 annually, based on factors such as education, qualifications, prior work experience, and work location. The total annual compensation package includes a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program. Our comprehensive benefits package includes insurance, disability, time off, and wellness programs, as well as an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) retirement program.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with 20% travel required. The primary location is US-NY-Troy, with other locations in US-NY-Albany. The job requires strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
