We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan - DMC Campus, a 28-bed Critical Care Hospital in Detroit, MI.
Responsibilities- Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluations to provide high-quality care to hospitalized and ambulatory patients.
- Develop and implement nutrition therapy plans, monitoring patient adherence and making adjustments as needed.
- Provide patient education and counseling on nutrition and diet.
- Lead the nutrition office and oversee the planning and implementation of nutrition services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Current, valid license and/or certification to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of employment.
- Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Minimum two years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- Knowledge of modern principles and practices of dietetics.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards applicable to hospital food service.
