About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Development Intern. As a key member of our global logistics and operations team, you will have the opportunity to develop and interpret analytical reports, improve operational excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and interpret analytical reports using SAP, Excel, and other data visualization tools to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
- Improve Operational Excellence by tracking and reporting key processes and metrics to management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize business outcomes.
- Partner with global colleagues to complete cross-functional projects and support standardization initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication across teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects involving freight optimization, packaging & labeling, e-commerce operations, and more, leveraging your analytical skills and business acumen to drive results.
- Collect data, execute, and manage sourcing events alongside Indirect Procurement using Ariba, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement processes.
- Assist with supply chain risk management and the development of a Business Continuity Playbook (BCP) to minimize disruption and maximize resilience, protecting the company's interests and reputation.
- Support inventory management projects by monitoring material movements, reviewing lot sizes & safety stocks, and maintaining lead times, ensuring accurate and timely inventory management.
- Support production scheduling by identifying cycle variances and short-term capacity factors, optimizing production planning and execution.
- Collaborate with strategic planners to build trajectory and asset plans for each business unit, driving business growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date on or after spring 2026.
- Majoring in Supply Chain, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
- Students with a GPA at or above 3.0 will be given priority consideration.
- Ability to integrate business acumen with technical skills, leveraging analytical tools and data visualization techniques to drive business outcomes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and imperfect data, using analytical skills to drive insights and recommendations.
