Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join our team in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering patient-centered care, committed to excellence, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Attend on Cardiology Inpatient Service and outpatient clinics
  • Interpret EKGs, Holter monitors, Stress EKGs, and perform other procedures as appropriate
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and assist facility in meeting established performance measures in the areas of Cardiology
Requirements
  • United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy
  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program (Cardiology) leading to eligibility for board certification
