Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse will utilize their knowledge and skills to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. This will ensure that the needs of our residents are met, and they receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
  • Less than one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • AHA CPR Certification and Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of specialized equipment, including Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
