Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify residents' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide speech and language therapy to residents, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Document resident progress and outcomes, using standardized assessment tools and reporting procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- ASHA certification or Clinical Fellow Year Program participation.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Current unencumbered MA license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow with appropriate supervision.
