The Receptionist RoleThe Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, family members, and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience. This role is responsible for enhancing the overall resident experience by handling a variety of support and administrative needs in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, family members, and visitors
- Handle administrative tasks, such as managing requests, distributing correspondence, and directing phone calls
- Interact with all visitors, guests, residents, and fellow team members in a friendly and courteous manner
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
- Coordinate activities and events to enhance the resident experience
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Customer service experience in the senior housing field, preferred
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
