Key Responsibilities

As a Pulmonary Care Specialist, you will:

  • Execute fundamental respiratory care procedures, including blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance, compressed gas therapy, and basic ventilator settings.
  • Administer medications such as antibiotic bronchodilators in accordance with Cardio-Pulmonary Association standards.
  • Ensure designated areas are stocked with necessary respiratory care supplies.

Required Qualifications

A High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Acceptance into a Respiratory Therapy Program or prior experience in respiratory therapy is advantageous. Experience in laboratory settings or patient care is also beneficial.
