Job Summary

As a Field Project Management Specialist at Axelon Services Corporation, you will be responsible for the profitable execution of assigned projects, including project delivery, estimating, and financial management. You will perform or delegate tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary on-site leader assigned to projects.
Perform cost estimating, project scheduling, and project management activities; maintain positive cash flow.
Ensure projects are properly executed, as budgeted, and billed in a timely manner within the scope of the contract.
Manage the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned.
Proactively work to establish advantageous long-term customer and contractor relationships.
Interface with customers throughout the project life cycle to gain feedback on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of Project Management experience.
Basic accounting or cost principles.
HVAC mechanical controls systems experience.
Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.
Customer-centric.
Self-motivated individual who takes ownership and responsibilities for deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's in a Technical field.
Four plus years of field experience in the HVAC industry.
PMP or basic project accounting or cost principles.
