About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation, to ensure alignment with client goals and project requirements.
  • Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring expenditures, and managing financial risks to keep the project within budget.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including construction managers, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and resolving any disputes.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues related to safety, project delays, and unforeseen changes.
  • Ensure that all work meets industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and overseeing quality control processes.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and correspondence, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • 10+ years of construction experience, including experience with ground-up builds at $10+m.
  • Wood frame construction experience.
  • A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
  • A degree in construction management is a plus.
