Job Title: Histology Technologist

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Texas Health Resources as a Histology Technologist. As a key member of our Anatomic Pathology Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and prepare tissue samples for histopathological examination
  • Perform histological staining and other laboratory procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of slides and other laboratory materials
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory procedures and results
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related field preferred
  • One-year acceptable experience in histopathology
  • HT (ASCP) Histotechnician certification required within 90 days from hire
  • HTL (ASCP) Histotechnologist certification required within 90 days from hire
