Job Title: Principal Chemist

Lilly is a global healthcare leader dedicated to making life better for people around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative research associate with a background in protein chemistry to join our Lead Optimization Team within the BioTDR organization, based in Indianapolis.

Responsibilities:
  • Purify proteins and antibodies and generate protein/antibody conjugates using various biochemical and biophysical techniques.
  • Characterize protein structure, stability, and solution properties using various biochemical and biophysical approaches.
  • Work in multifunctional teams and coordinate and present experimental data/results at team meetings.
Requirements:
  • BS with 5 years of experience or MS degree in biochemistry, protein chemistry or related field and 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Hands-on experience in protein purification and characterization of proteins in academic or industrial settings.
