We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Electro-Mechanical Lab Specialist to join our team at Intelliswift Software. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background related to consumer electronics and experience working in a hardware R&D environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanically focused hardware labs, working with our internal mechanical engineering team, and driving responsibilities related to part fabrication, assembly, testing, and material management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for lab management, including equipment purchases and setup, equipment maintenance and calibration, inventory and materials management, and other general lab maintenance.
  • Manage and drive lab expenses for supplies, equipment, and capital expenditures, as well as enforce lab safety and compliance policies.
  • Experience with mechanical fabrication and test equipment, including Instron, drop towers, basic machine shop equipment, and hand tools to perform maintenance, assembly, and setup of fixtures and consumer electronic devices.
  • Experience with SLA SLS 3D printers, including part creation, managing file logs, general maintenance, cleaning, and material loading.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and independent individual with a mechanical background related to consumer electronics.
  • Experience working in a hardware R&D environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
