Key Responsibilities- Work closely with account teams to assess the maturity levels of customer data center environments by evaluating infrastructure technologies, usage, implementations, and processes.
- Design and recommend infrastructure solutions that align with customer business goals.
- Enhance technical partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and strategic partners to gain insights and participate in beta programs, ensuring customers receive the latest product information.
- Deliver product training and positioning to the Sales team and clients.
Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, along with a minimum of 2 years in complex Data Center technical presales roles.
Advanced understanding of servers, storage, virtualization technologies, hybrid cloud, converged infrastructure, and software-defined data centers is essential.
Required Skills- Proficiency in designing data center infrastructures that encompass hybrid cloud, hyper-converged systems, software-defined data centers (SDDC), and automation.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, including hypervisors and server virtualization.
- Ability to navigate complex technical and sales scenarios, demonstrating problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- Results-oriented mindset with a keen sense of urgency.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-up capabilities.
Preferred certifications in mainstream technologies are advantageous.
This role may require travel of approximately 30% for customer meetings, internal discussions, conferences, and office engagements.
Additional InformationThe estimated annual compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $230,000, encompassing base salary and bonuses.
Compensation is influenced by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, thus varying among individuals.
