Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, perform various tasks, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
  • Process prescriptions, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy operations and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • PTCB certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
