About the Role

Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the registered nurse in the intra-operative care of the surgical patient by performing routine and delegated duties.
  • Prepare and pass instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies needed during the operative procedure.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Consult with and/or advise appropriate personnel of instrument or equipment needs requiring follow-up or attention.
  • Utilize physician preference cards and inventory lists to accurately organize equipment and supplies for operative surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology or an equivalent of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Colorado Registration is required.
  • Certification preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • One to two years experience required.
