About the Role

Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled OB Technician to join our team. As an OB Technician, you will play a vital role in providing indirect patient care activities and supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess requirements for indirect patient care activities and set priorities for implementation.
  • Perform aseptic and sterile technique procedures and identify the rationale underlying the skill.
  • Collect data and provide care to patients in the FAMILY BIRTH CENTER under the supervision of an RN.
  • May be required to perform point of care testing and serve as a point of care trainer.
  • Clean, restock, and set up patient rooms, PACU, or O.R. with attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain adequate levels of floor stock supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure proper stock levels are maintained in all patient care areas and supply carts.
  • Comply with department, division, and hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Clean and care for instruments and equipment with precision.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • BLS required within 3 months of hire.
  • Certified Surgical Tech or Registered Surgical Assistant required within 90 days of hire.
  • If CST or RSA not current at hire, CNA certification or equivalent certification/experience is required.
