Job Description:
A key member of our team will be responsible for conducting research, analysis, data collection, product development, and stakeholder engagement in support of emergency management and continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate will engage with government clients to understand project requirements, scope tasks, and collaborate and execute project activities. Additionally, they will design approaches to evaluate the performance of disaster management programs through general research, surveys, interviews, and focus groups. Our team member will develop training, policies, tools, and guidance documents related to conducting continuous improvement in emergency management. They will also use qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze emergency management data and programs. Furthermore, they will design stakeholder engagement strategies, communication materials, and technical assistance in support of emergency management projects, and synthesize analysis results into written products, data visualizations, and oral presentations. The successful candidate will manage multiple, simultaneous tasks with minimal oversight.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a relevant Master's degree and one year of relevant experience OR a relevant Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Relevant education and experience related to emergency management, homeland security, public policy, or social science are highly valued. A general understanding of emergency management principles, including the National Incident Management System (NIMS), the Incident Command System (ICS), the National Response Framework (NRF), National Disaster Response Framework (NDRF), and other preparedness guidance documents and policies, is essential. Experience supporting analytical work including data collection, analysis, and data interpretation is required. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, product development skills, and attention-to-detail are crucial. Proficiency in relevant software programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is necessary.

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, health savings account, and 401K plan with Concourse matches up to 4% of the base salary. We also offer paid time-off (PTO) and paid holidays.
