Field Technician for Security Solutions

Our client is seeking to enhance their team with a skilled commercial installation technician as they expand their operations. This technician will be instrumental in supporting clients and managing construction projects in the Delaware region. The role allows for servicing areas along the eastern shore and select parts of Maryland and Northern Delaware.
There is no centralized office in this area; the technician will receive their construction schedule a week in advance. In certain instances, collaboration with the sales engineer will be necessary to assist in job pricing and scheduling the actual installation. All necessary equipment will be dispatched to the technician's residence for convenient transport to client sites. A company vehicle will be provided for this purpose.
Candidates should possess experience in installing a diverse range of security systems, including but not limited to DMP, DSC (832, 1832, Alexor Panel, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys Panel, Bosch Keypad (B930), Honeywell, Concord, Vista, among others). Familiarity with motion detectors, door locks, glass break sensors, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors is essential.
Additionally, while experience with fire alarm systems is advantageous, it is not mandatory as training will be provided on these systems, including Silent Knight (6808, 6820) and Potter AFC (1000, 100, IPA 60, IPA 100, IPA 4000V).
A solid understanding of how these systems operate, their setup, and knowledge of various other systems will align perfectly with the needs of Strat Security.
