We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Engineering Director to lead our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEPT) team in a designated territory. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business development and marketing strategies to achieve financial success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the MEPT team in a designated territory, ensuring successful client interactions and directing company business development and marketing strategies.
- Provide leadership and manage the MEPT staff for an assigned office, ensuring smooth operations and quality product delivery to clients.
- Coordinate project operations with all disciplines and departments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Ensure produced work meets LEAF Engineers' standards for high-quality construction, originality, and intellectual property.
- Communicate effectively with clients, leadership, project teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Monitor and maintain project documents, files, and directories during design, construction, and closeout phases.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership on project-related and team matters.
- Perform other work to support and complement LEAF Engineers' leadership in client projects and team management.
- Develop engineering proposals and cost estimates for various systems, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Technology, Fire Alarm, and Fire Sprinkler.
- 12+ years of experience in AEC or engineering consulting, with a B.S. Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Ability to maneuver through Revit and AutoCAD to assess project design process and accuracies.
- Physical ability and willingness to conduct site inspections and observe fieldwork.
- Ability to self-assess project work and budget status to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
