Job Description

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Director of Product Marketing for our Storage Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the strategic goals of the SBU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Build marketing plans that align with the SBU's strategic goals, including product messaging and target audience identification.
  • Content Creation and Management: Oversee the development of high-quality content, including product brochures, white papers, case studies, and digital assets.
  • Launch Management: Own the planning and execution of product launches, developing launch strategies, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Creative Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of marketers and creatives, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and cohesion in marketing efforts.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and implement comprehensive sales enablement and training strategies that empower the sales team to effectively communicate product value.
  • Technical Marketing: Collaborate with technical partners to build technical marketing assets that effectively communicate sophisticated technical concepts and product benefits.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the product marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all marketing activities reinforce Micron's brand values and strengthen market presence.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on storage technology, especially SSDs.
  • Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of marketing content. Proven track record of successful product launches and marketing campaign management.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of marketers and creatives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
