Position Overview
Trinity Health FirstChoice is currently seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for an exciting opportunity. This role involves providing essential support in surgical settings, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Qualifications:
• Preferred Education: Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program in Surgical Technology.
• Preferred Certification: CST (certification requirements may vary by facility).
• Minimum of 18 months of experience required for CST or relevant degree.
• If not graduated from a Surgical Technologist program, a minimum of five (5) years of work experience is necessary.
• Candidates must not hold concurrent positions within Trinity Health facilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with patients, surgeons, and healthcare personnel, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Analytical skills are required to prepare and organize the operating room according to best practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist in lifting and positioning patients as needed.
• Manual dexterity is crucial for handling surgical instruments and operating medical equipment.
