Minimum Qualifications
  • Preferred Education: Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program in Surgical Technology.
  • Preferred Certification: CST (as mandated by local facility).
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience is necessary for CST and/or Associate or Bachelor's degree holders.
  • If the Surgical Technologist program is incomplete, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Must not hold a concurrent position within the Trinity Health system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with patients, surgeons, and healthcare staff, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Analytical skills are required to prepare and organize the operating room following best practices.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift and position patients for surgical procedures.
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for handling delicate surgical instruments and operating complex medical equipment.
  • Must embody a personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and compassion, inspiring others to uphold the mission and values of Trinity Health.

Trinity Health FirstChoice Job ID: 1404. Compensation is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
