Job Overview:
EdAdvance is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist for the Birth to Three Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct home visits with infants, toddlers, and their families.
  • Support families in implementing strategies to foster their child's development.
  • Collaborate with families to create Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
  • Provide service coordination for families.
  • Assist children in transitioning to preschool programs.
  • Work collaboratively within a trans-disciplinary team of Early Childhood professionals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance as an essential function of this role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed/Certified Physical Therapist in Connecticut.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and their families.
  • Service Coordination training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organizational skills and computer proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and therapeutic holding as necessary.
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
Travel: Travel within Litchfield County is required. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance are necessary.
