Job Overview:
EdAdvance is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist for the Birth to Three Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits with infants, toddlers, and their families.
- Support families in implementing strategies to foster their child's development.
- Collaborate with families to create Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
- Provide service coordination for families.
- Assist children in transitioning to preschool programs.
- Work collaboratively within a trans-disciplinary team of Early Childhood professionals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance as an essential function of this role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Ability to cultivate effective relationships.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Licensed/Certified Physical Therapist in Connecticut.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and their families.
- Service Coordination training (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organizational skills and computer proficiency.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and therapeutic holding as necessary.
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
