Job Description

The Procurement and Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire contracts lifecycle, from proposal development to contract execution and closeout. This includes ensuring compliance with company policy, federal regulation, and contract terms.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex contracts and a proven ability to mentor contracts professionals in the acquisition process. They should also have exceptional leadership abilities and be able to effectively collaborate with other corporate stakeholders to ensure successful delivery on contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer company contracts, including contract negotiations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to contracts professionals
  • Support contract negotiation, analysis, and administration; proposal preparation; and customer contact related to contract acquisition and fulfillment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 10-13 years of contracts management experience or a master's with 8-11 years of experience or a PhD with 6-8 years of experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in federal acquisition processes, FAR/DFARS, and other relevant federal regulations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
