Maintenance Operations Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

Aramark Uniform Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all plant machinery, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all plant machinery, including compressed air systems, heat reclaimers, boilers, HVAC systems, water softeners, electrical systems, and other equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment failures and other maintenance-related issues
  • Collaborate with production department to resolve equipment breakdowns and other production-related opportunities
  • Develop and implement safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance work experience, with 2 years of prior management experience preferred
  • Two-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 pounds and load/unload product from truck without assistance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time on concrete floor
  • Ability to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ pounds
  • Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions
