Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and patient safety.
  • Provide training and education to nursing staff on quality assurance and patient safety best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality metrics and benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a geriatric nurse or health and nursing professional.
  • Further education as a Quality Officer in nursing.
  • Several years of professional experience in inpatient geriatric care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
