RN - Maternal Child Unit

Cary Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Maternal Child unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient clinical condition, including fetal monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Current state of Maine registered nurse license.
- One or more years of recent labor and delivery/newborn nursery experience, experience preferred.
- Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), BLS/CPR, Fetal Monitoring.
With consideration to our patients' and staff needs, you may need to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays and may need to float to other units.
