Job Summary

Cary Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN to join our Maternal Child unit. This is a full-time position with a 36-hour workweek, including night shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with providers about patient clinical condition changes, including fetal monitoring and diagnostic study results.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  • Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Current state of Maine registered nurse license.
  • One or more years of recent labor and delivery/newborn nursery experience.
  • Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), BLS/CPR, Fetal Monitoring.
Work Schedule

With consideration to our patients' and staff needs, you may need to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays and may need to float to other units.
