Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and graciously upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage the efficient and timely seating of guests, balancing the flow of customers between service stations.
  • Provide menus to guests, inform them of their server's name, and ensure table settings are complete and presented properly.
  • Relay messages to servers and bus persons as needed, ensuring seamless communication and service.
  • Warmly bid farewell to guests upon departure, ensuring a positive final impression.
  • Protect the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
  • Maintain menu presentation, including cleaning menus, replacing damaged pages, and lettering specials on chalkboards.
  • Support wait staff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers, liners, and bus stations.
  • Clean and maintain the dining area, including sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, removing trash and recyclables, and updating job knowledge through training opportunities.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on customer service and hospitality.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to access online scheduling app and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
