Mentor and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives, helping them to live as independently as possible. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work closely with our clinical staff to develop and implement personalized plans that promote growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide transportation and support for individuals in community settings, including outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
  • Support individuals in achieving developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
  • Help individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
  • Assist individuals in redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of documented caregiving experience (substitute experience may be considered)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • A reliable and responsible attitude
