About the Role

The American Honda Motor Co. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing business intelligence and financial analysis to support the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions, including variance analysis and financial forecasting.
  • Support the month-end close process, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Lead the growth and development of financial professionals on the team.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5 years of relevant financial experience, with a focus on financial analysis and planning.
  • Experience supervising financial professionals preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including SAP/BPC and Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
