About the Role:

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support our federal customer in a dynamic and challenging environment. Our team is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of logistics operations, enabling our customer to address threats to our nation and our allies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account for all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and material, maintaining complete and accurate property accounting records.
  • Coordinate marking directly with appropriate Government property accounting personnel.
  • Perform a variety of duties relating to the occupational fields of engineering and logistics, including property accountability, material control, source identification, and procurement.
  • Research source identification and alternate source suppliers for replacement parts for GFE equipment, as required.
  • Procure parts as necessary to meet tasking requirements, utilizing various methods to ensure the Government's best interest is maintained.
  • Maintain requisition information for all parts, material, and equipment, establishing delivery and expedition schedules.
  • Classify, rate, route, trace, select carriers and transportation modes, and expedite inbound and outbound shipments in the most economical manner commensurate with delivery requirements.
  • Arrange for transportation and handling of special or unusual items, initiating and following up on claims for shipping damage.
  • Manage reporting of Government property on contract, including CAP, Monthly, and Annual Inventory reporting.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance; may be required to take a polygraph.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in ordering, receiving, and inventorying parts components, supplies, and equipment.
  • Experience using material control procedures on Government contracts.
