Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Camera Systems Engineer to join our team at Pinnacle Group. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge camera systems for various applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in camera systems, motion capture, and research and development. You will work closely with our research scientists, hardware engineers, and software engineers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing camera systems for various applications
  • Collaborating with research scientists and engineers to develop new technologies
  • Implementing and testing camera systems to ensure accuracy and correctness
  • Providing technical feedback and guidance to team members
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for camera systems

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation, such as Python and shell scripts
  • Experience working with Linux and/or Windows operating systems and using command line
  • Experience working in a production capture setting
  • Experience in debugging, profiling, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience working with capture systems
  • Experience working with VR or mobile devices
  • Experience working in a production capture setting
  • Experience working with distributed systems and/or cloud services
