Job Title: Camera Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Camera Systems Engineer to join our team at Pinnacle Group. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge camera systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop multi-camera capture systems for research and development purposes
  • Collaborate with research scientists, hardware engineers, and software engineers to build and run state-of-the-art capture systems
  • Conduct data capture sessions, data annotations, data processing, and QA using commercial and proprietary software and hardware
  • Build scripts and small components to improve system performance and automate data capture setup and usage
  • Assemble, debug, and verify capture systems with predefined needs and specifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in scripting and automation, such as Python and shell scripts
  • Experience working in a production capture setting
  • Experience in debugging, profiling, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and creative problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience working with capture systems
  • Experience working with VR or mobile devices
  • Experience working in a production capture setting
