Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitoring Specialist to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline. As a key member of our telemetry monitoring station, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring EKG waveform displays and documenting changes in rhythm according to established protocol.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor EKG waveform displays in a centralized telemetry monitoring station
  • Document changes in rhythm and report them according to established protocol
  • Provide accurate documentation of information obtained from cardiac monitoring equipment
  • Assure equipment and supplies are available and ready for use
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • EKG/arrhythmia interpretation background desired
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • EKG certification within 90 days of hire/transfer date
