Medical Communication Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide per diem care coordination services at our Select Specialty Hospital in Flint, MI. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in facilitating the recovery of critically ill patients by assessing their communication and swallowing abilities and developing personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient communication skills and swallowing function
- Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans to maximize patient potential
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in speech therapy
- BLS certification
