Department: Recovery Room

Location: Mercy Fore River

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Coordinator/CNA to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. As a Unit Coordinator/CNA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Recovery Room department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate unit activities and manage patient records
  • Process physician orders and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate the safe transport of patients and other items
  • Develop and maintain a safe environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • Lifting, moving, and loading up to 50 pounds
  • Alternate shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
