About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Republic Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians and ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of technicians to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.
  • Plan and schedule repair work to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct daily shop huddles and fleet walks to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide coaching and training to technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance and efficiency, making recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment; 1+ year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
