Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Perform installations of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to solar systems.
  • Utilize tools and equipment, including ladders and solar panels, safely and effectively.
  • Identify and resolve production and communication challenges.
  • Work comfortably in outdoor environments and on rooftops.
  • Determine materials and quantities necessary for project completion.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in solar installation.
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
  • The ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights.
  • A valid Driver's License in good standing.
  • Reliable transportation to our headquarters.
  • Residency in New Jersey is required.
Preferred Experience

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Prior experience as a Service Technician.
  • Licensure as an Electrician.
  • NABCEP certification.
Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Work Environment

This position involves travel to various locations within New Jersey, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
