Key Responsibilities- Assign and direct nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.
- Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff, providing feedback and coaching to support growth and development.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuring that population-appropriate patient care is provided.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes and respond to complaints about patient care through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- One year of registered nurse experience.
- Illinois Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) and Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or equivalent certifications in other states.
