Ironworker Rigger Journeyman

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker Rigger Journeyman to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assembling and rigging equipment to lift and move materials to construction projects.

• Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed structures, using bolts and clamps, to facilitate lifting and moving loads.
• Direct crane operators and hoisting engineers to ensure safe and accurate lifting and placement of loads.
• Set up and rig hoisting equipment, using hand tools and power wrenches, to ensure secure and stable lifting operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning activities on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in the field or a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision, with primary job functions not requiring independent judgment.
