Join Our Team as an Oncology Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Veterinary Technician to join our team at BluePearl Pet Hospital. As a key member of our oncology team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical exams and vital sign checks on patients
  • Administer chemotherapy agents and monitor patient response
  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges, including client education and communication
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with veterinarians and other team members
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest oncology treatments and protocols
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic, preferably in oncology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of chemotherapy agents and protocols
