Advanced Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel. You must maintain professional nursing standards and communicate effectively with the physician about patient clinical conditions. In addition, you must be capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and report symptoms and diagnostic results to physicians. This role requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California and a minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in an E.R. setting.
Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you must possess excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities. Experience working in an emergency department or similar setting is highly desirable. A valid state RN license, current BLS certification, and certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ENPC are mandatory. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire is also required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred.
