We are seeking a compassionate individual to lead our Embrace Memory Care Program, ensuring its successful implementation for our residents.
- Oversee daily operations within the Memory Care section in collaboration with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
- Develop and implement innovative memory care initiatives within the department.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and assessment of resident activities.
- Advocate for and educate staff and families about the Embrace Memory Care Program.
- A minimum of one year of experience in dementia care or senior recreation programming.
- Possession of an associate's degree or higher in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Willingness to obtain certification as an Activity Director, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant, as required by state regulations.
- A genuine passion for engaging with individuals affected by Alzheimer's and/or Dementia.
- Exceptional patience and understanding.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and elderly residents.
