We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
  • Assist with surgical counts and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in debriefing and quality improvement practices to ensure quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to achieve optimal department results
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Certifications: BLS, CSA, ORT-C, CST, or GRNDF
