We are seeking a highly skilled Production Team Lead to join our team at Webasto. As a Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Train, develop, and evaluate subordinate colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and improve changeover and line set-up efficiency to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, including first-piece buyoffs to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Interface with Production Scheduling to determine schedules for shift production and ensure schedules are met.
- Interface with Human Resources on all policy and discipline issues.
- College degree in Management, Business, or Technical field preferred.
- 2-4 years previous supervisory experience in an automotive/manufacturing environment.
- Excellent people skills required.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to work long hours as necessary.
